Two days at Minsmere

I visited Minsmere on Thursday, the weather was dull and showery, but the wildlife brightened me up.

 

Two OTTER's turned up in front of Island Mere hide, pity about the light.

 

Then two COMMON SNIPE showed quite well.

 

 

A couple of MARSH HARRIERS also put in appearance.

 

 

Also there was 2 Red-Headed SMEW on Scrape, but light was awful.

Returned on Saturday with Eddie and the weather was a lot better even some sun

We found the SMEW showing well in front of East Hide.

 

 

Then back to Island Mere and there was now three SNIPE showing well

 

 

Then on way back to the car a MARSH TIT in the trees near Island Mere.
