Another Great Week in Suffolk and goodbye to Collared Pratincole

Well the Collared Pratincole has finally moved on, but the East Scrape at Minsmere still producing the goods


Cracking Snipe popped up right in front of the hide

 
 
A Greenshank came very close to the hide also
 
 




Then to Cavenham for Black-wing Stilts too distant to photograph but a life tick for me.
This young Blackcap came closer!!
 
 
Great little bonus I found this female Redstart near the car park at Cavenham

Gave Boyton a look and spotted this Ruff also present were 2 Common Sandpipers

Bird feast on East Scrape at Minsmere

This week has been a great week for birds on the East Scrape at Minsmere, so there was plenty to keep you amused whilst waiting for the Collared Pratincole to appear.

Another Great Week in Suffolk

The birding front was very quiet until the Great Knot finally turn up on the Suffolk side of the river, I missed this bird so I was feeling a little low, but on Tuesday a Collared Pratincole turned up at Minsmere and it's been showing on and off for a few days now but always distant.
