Avocet protecting it's chicks

On Saturday afternoon went down to Boyton for a spot of birding, I spotted a Avocet protecting it's young from a non harmful Shell duck.




Shell Duck has had enough!!!

    I am a student writing a final report at university and I came across your beautiful photograph of a pied avocet and her chick. It is the one at the top of the page. I wonder if you would give me your permission to use this photo in my project. It will only be seen by two people.
