Ospreys visit to Wilford Bridge Melton

My wife and I went for our usual Sunday afternoon walk on the 14th August, the walk took us near to Wilford Bridge Melton, as we were walking past the bridge, I spotted some Gulls mobbing something, I took a closer look with my bins and it was a Osprey, as ever I had my camera with me with my 100mm-400mm lens on so managed to get a few photos

The next day (Monday) went back with my 500mm f4 lens to get some better shots

And again on Tuesday

a girls got to do what a girls got to do !!

I sent of the information ring number etc; to BTO and a few days later got the birds history

It was ringed on the 1st July 2016 at Glen Affric Scotland and is a female (one a brood of 3, 2 females and 1 male)
They also sent me this photo taken by Jon Clark, of it at the time of ringing
