After the Wood Warbler had left East Lane sometime Wednesday evening, it left me a bit flat, but things soon cheered up when my first sightings of WHEATEAR of the coming Autumn season on Thursday.
Two more turned up on Saturday
Supporting cast a double jointed MEADOW PIPIT
Decided to look for CORN BUNTINGS but in their usual place there were two Kestrels were hunting, so I scanned the corn and there they were hiding (spot the bird!!!)
