Otterly Great Day at Thetford

Sun was shining so Eddie and I decided to give the Otter's at Thetford another look.

Then he caught this big roach then the fun began!!

These next shots were taken by Eddie using my 7D and my 400mm f5.6 (Great Shots Eddie)

  2. Hello John,
I wanted to say how much I admire your photographic skills - your shots are absolutely amazing, especially the Otters.
I live in Leicester, a keen wildlife man since I was a boy and have never seen wild Otters.
I wonder, could tell me roughly where to look as I would like to take a trip over to see and photograph them myself, and maybe catch the Dipper at the same time.
I don't get too many opportunities to travel this far so would really appreciate a nod in the right direction if you wouldn't mind.
I follow your blog regularly, keep up the great work!
    Regards
    Chris

  3. Just go to the Nun's bridges areain Thetford, ask any of the locals for directions, the otter's are very friendly and the Dipper is still there. Just look for all the photographer's and you will find the otter's I hope this helps.
    Best of Luck John

    1. Thank you very much for the information John, I'm sure I'll find it. I did look the area up on the internet and it seems that it's near the Bridge pub so I should find that!
Keep up the great blog and happy Birding / Ottering!
      Regards
      Chris
