Minsmere Levels and Boyton RSPB on Friday

Mid afternoon decided to take a trip to Boyton RSPB Reserve to get some more photos of the 7 Common Cranes (see below photo) that were there the day before, they had decided to stay on the Gedgrave side of the river so not seen, but whilst scanning the river got the following photos

Seven Common Cranes flying into Boyton RSBP on Thursday (bit grainy as light was poor and heavy crop)


Avocets flying up the river towards Butley Creek


This little fella spotted me and stared at me for ages

At about 1600hrs a Short Eared Owl was hunting both sides of the river (not enough light for a good photo)
