Early evening with a Barn Owl at Orford

Just returning to the car after a great day with the Short eared Owl's at Orford in the early evening with the setting at my back, when to my great surprise a Barn Owl was flying towards me, what a great finish to the day !!

Misty morning with my favourite Short Eared Owl at Orford

I made a early morning visit to Orford a few days ago, it was a misty morning but as soon as I got to the river wall path I was greeted by my favourite SEO. It few up and down past me then to my great pleasure perch on a post very close to me, giving me a chance to get some great photos

 ( including one of it ejecting a pellet ).
