Very cold Thursday at Gedgrave and Upper Common Hollesley

Well I have been waiting to get some birds (feathered) in the snow since Sunday, but it was very cold -3 Deg, roads were OK if you took it steady.
Gedgrave first

Red Legged Partridge

Then Upper Common Hollesley my favourite spot of late

Crossbills
I took me about an hour to find them, this one was singing at the top of a tree, same place as last week

Then I spotted this female Crossbill, perched on a small stump.
Then this female with nesting material
With the Crossbills were Redpolls

Then Goldcrest high in a tree
Meadow Pipit
